Smart Onboarding Form

Answer the facts you know. The form filters job titles, pre-fills the likely award and Employment Hero path, and flags anything payroll still needs to confirm.

Team Member details
Business and role
Primary role means the default setup role. If this Team Member will work across roles with different levels, choose the lower/base role as primary and add the higher-duty roles as additional roles. Accounts can then avoid accidentally defaulting every shift to the higher pay grade.

Only roles for the selected business appear here. Additional roles stay separate in the payroll summary, and each selected role contributes its own Team/Group mapping.

Employment arrangement
Expected roster days

All Funday businesses trade on public holidays, so public-holiday availability is assumed for operational Team members and does not need to be selected here.

Use expected hours as a planning guide. For casual Team Members, this is not a guaranteed-hours commitment.

Employment arrangement definitions
  • Casual with a fixed end date: casual shifts as needed, with a known end date.
  • Casual with no fixed end date: casual shifts as needed, ongoing.
  • Part-time: ongoing or fixed-term employment with minimum offered hours.
  • Full-time hourly: full-time employment paid through hourly payroll setup.
  • Salary: salaried employment with the ordinary day pattern shown in the option.
Contract setup details

These answers help accounts populate the employment contract schedules. Apprentice setups are not finalised by this form; they trigger HR/payroll review because WA training contracts, training plans and award apprentice rules sit outside normal onboarding.

Factual payroll checks

This is a classification-review flag only. It does not automatically create a supervision allowance.

Manager and notes

By clicking send, you confirm this intake record is accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you request HR specialist review, it will be assessed before contract issue. If no HR review is requested, the payroll manager may rely on the selected award, classification, penalties, allowances and rates as correct.
